The purpose of the organization shall be to promote, support, and recognize professional leadership for hospitality & tourism educators in Korea and America by:
- Serving its members as a resource for professional development, network, employment, and education
- Sharing the reservoir of knowledge, experiences and skills that exist among the members with Korean entrepreneurs and leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry for their viability and advancement
- Developing partnerships with other professional associations which promote hospitality and tourism education
- Encouraging and promoting research, teaching and publication of members.
