Director of Transactions & Asset Management at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG)

Mr. Yosung Chang focuses on hospitality investments encompassing asset acquisitions & dispositions, land and new development opportunities, asset management and contract negotiation.

Mr. Chang has more than 11 years of hospitality industry experience and joined IHG in 2011. Prior to joining IHG, he worked for Extended Stay Hotels (ESA), where he performed a pivotal role in the company’s debt restructuring and Chapter 11 sale to a group comprised of Centerbridge Partners, Paulson & Co. and Blackstone Real Estate Associates VI for $3.9 billion. He also served as an Operational Planner at the Seoul Plaza Hotel and was a Human Resources Associate at the Fraser Suites Serviced Residence, in Seoul.

Mr. Chang received a Master of Management in Hospitality degree, specializing in Hospitality Real Estate & Finance, from Cornell University and received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Tourism Management from Sejong University.

William Hastings is an Analyst in the Enterprise Analytics Department at Caesars Entertainment, a Fortune 500 hotel/casino and resort company. In his role, William is responsible for monitoring and maximizing labor productivity for hourly positions across 38 properties in the United States. In his previous role, William served as a voice of customer consultant to Whataburger, Firehouse Subs, and Peet’s Coffee and Tea while working at Service Management Group. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from UNLV and a Master’s of Science in Hospitality and Foodservice Management from Kansas State University.
