Welcome message from president
Welcome to the Korea America Hospitality and Tourism Educators Association’s Website. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the first president of the Korea American Hospitality and Tourism Educators Association (KAHTEA) during 2010–2013.
The KAHTEA fosters academic and professional collaboration and networking between hospitality and tourism educators and industry professionals in both Korea and America.
Our membership consists of faculty, students, and professionals who are involved in the hospitality and tourism industry in America and Korea. We are sponsored by not only universities (UNLV, Niagara University, and so on) but also various industry members such as Grand Ambassador Seoul Hotel, Kumho Tire USA, CJ America, Mooddaepo Restaurant, Bankcard Services, Sempio Foods, Lee’s Discount Liquor Store, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, High1 Resort Korea, Blythe Group + co., First Bank and Trust, Arado Japanese Restaurant, and other various companies and private sponsors . We are especially grateful to our all members, volunteers, sponsors and donors.
The association is governed by its board members. We meet every Wednesday of the week to discuss various issues related to KAHTEA and always welcome suggestions or ideas for improving this association. I would like to commend all members of KAHTEA who were instrumental in the development of this association.
