The 2017 Academy of Global Hospitality & Tourism Conference will be held in Cheongju, South Korea on May 26-28, 2017.
This conference focuses on a broad range of contemporary topics relevant to research, education, and industry practices in fields of hospitality and tourism. To qualify for consideration, authors may submit either full paper(s) (maximum 20 single-spaced pages including references) or extended abstract(s) (around 3 single-spaced pages including references) for a Stand-up Presentation or for a Poster Presentation. The author(s) of a full paper is also asked to provide an abstract (around 200 words) and keywords. Please note that authors are also welcome to submit the proposal which is not a completed one.
All submitted papers will follow a rigorous double-blind review process for acceptance and best paper awards. To be qualified as a candidate for the best paper awards, the author(s) must submit the full paper in a due course. The best paper awards will be competitively reviewed and selected using a 3 step approach (track chairs – reviewers – best paper award selection committee). The authors of best papers will receive the best paper award, which comes with a cash prize of US$2,000 or US$1,000.
The conference proceedings will include either (extended) abstract or full paper based on authors’ requests or preferences. The full papers and/or extended abstracts presented will be distributed at the conference in a USB memory.

- Early Bird Registration Fee – US$150*
- Registration after May 10, 2017 – US$200*
*Includes conference proceedings and access to full conference activities and conference meals but excludes accommodations.
