1. This Friday: KAHTEA Monthly Education Program Kickoff
We are excited to launch KAHTEA’s 2026–2027 Monthly Education Program!
This six-session series brings together students, researchers, and faculty for professional development, research collaboration, teaching innovation, and academic networking.
Our first session, Research I: Building Your Research Foundation, will take place:
? Friday, September 18, 2026
? 8:00 PM ET | 90 minutes
? Online via Zoom
?? Free and open to everyone
This month’s session will feature:
1. Research Networking & Research Resources
A welcome and networking opportunity for new students and researchers, followed by practical guidance on finding and effectively using academic research resources.
2. Research Talk
Prof. Sangwon Park
Kyung Hee University | Managing Editor,
Tourism Management
Insights and practical advice on academic research and publishing.
3. Research Question Formulation
Prof. Jungkeun Kim
Texas A&M University
Identifying meaningful research gaps and developing strong research questions.

2. Meet the KAHTEA Board
