Following the success of the Korea America Hospitality and Tourism Educators Association annual conference since 2011, the board member of KAHTEA is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for a rebranded annual conference titled “Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Conference for Researchers, Educators, Practitioners, and Students (THEREPS)”.
The THEREPS conference committee is excited to invite researchers, educators, practitioners, and students who would like to share their knowledge, business know-how, and valuable experiences. Conference attendees will share their expertise through completed research, research-in-progress, case studies, or open discussion in stand-up presentation, poster presentation, or undergraduate research forum.
Presentations will be available in the following formats:
1. Refereed research presentations
Research presentations should be based on either theoretical or empirical studies that demonstrate sound research question, research methodology, and implications. Stand-up or poster presentations formats will be available.
2. Undergraduate Student Research Forum
The Undergraduate Student Research Forum is designed to provide undergraduate students with opportunities to present their research proposals, case studies, or completed studies. Stand-up presentation format is only available. The faculty advisor must attend the conference with the student presenter.
